Towards an Approximative Ontology-Agnostic Approach for Logic Programs

چکیده
Distributional semantics focuses on the automatic construction of a semantic model based on the statistical distribution of colocated words in large-scale texts. Deductive reasoning is a fundamental component for semantic understanding. Despite the generality and expressivity of logical models, from an applied perspective, deductive reasoners are dependent on highly consistent conceptual models, which limits the application of reasoners to highly heterogeneous and open domain knowledge sources. Additionally, logical reasoners may present scalability issues. This work focuses on advancing the conceptual and formal work on the interaction between distributional semantics and logic, focusing on the introduction of a distributional deductive inference model for large-scale and heterogeneous knowledge bases. The proposed reasoning model targets the following features: (i) an approximative ontologyagnostic reasoning approach for logical knowledge bases, (ii) the inclusion of large volumes of distributional semantics commonsense knowledge into the inference process and (iii) the provision of a principled geometric representation of the inference process.

An Executive Approach Based On the Production of Fuzzy Ontology Using the Semantic Web Rule Language Method (SWRL)
Today, the need to deal with ambiguous information in semantic web languages is increasing. Ontology is an important part of the W3C standards for the semantic web, used to define a conceptual standard vocabulary for the exchange of data between systems, the provision of reusable databases, and the facilitation of collaboration across multiple systems. However, classical ontology is not enough ...
متن کاملOptimizations for the Role-Depth Bounded Least Common Subsumer in EL+
Computing the least common subsumer (lcs) yields a generalization of a collection of concepts, computing such generalizations is a useful reasoning task for many ontology-based applications. Since the lcs need not exist, if computed w.r.t. general TBoxes, an approximative approach, the role-depth bounded lcs, has been proposed. Recently, this approach has been extended to the Description logic ...
متن کاملComponents and Indications of Approximative Ethics in Tabarsi’s Majma ol-Bayan Explication
“Approximative ethics” in hermeneutics is an attempt to bring closer the followers of Islamic denominations on the basis of common principles whose ultimate goal is to create a meaningful unity among denominations. Tabarsi has taken such an approach in Majma ol-Bayan Explication and is one of the Shiite commentators who tried to avoid highlighting issues that have been a point of contention am...

Strawson’s conception of analysis as a ‘connective linguistic analysis’ makes it possible for him to achieve an indefinitely large range of ideas or concepts among them are certain numbers of fundamental, general and pervasive concepts or concept-types which not only are pre-theoretical or ahistorical, but also together constitute a structural framework only within whichlogic, ontology and epis...
متن کاملPartial First-order Logic with Approximative Functors Based on Properties
In the present paper a logically exact way is presented in order to define approximative functors on object level in the partial first–order logic relying on approximation spaces. By the help of defined approximative functors one can determine what kind of approximations has to be taken into consideration in the evaluating process of a formula. The representations of concepts (properties) of ou...
